Plays and Pantomimes are a very popular entertainment, and Winsham in the latter quarter of the twentieth century was exceptionally fortunate in having had two very talented Producers and Directors, Stella Abbey and Penny Pargeter, and members of the community who were prepared to take part in presenting entertainments of different types.
Sadly, but inevitably, as we progress into the twenty-first century, new people become part of the Winsham Players group, and new talent gently slips into the leadership role. A role of the Winsham Web Museum is to ensure that all are remembered.
The links below will take you to see details and photos of Winsham productions from 1985 to the present day.
Sadly, photographs do not exist for all the wonderful productions that took place, such as; Jack and the Beanstalk, Calamity Annie and The Winsham Conquest - if you have any information about this productions please contact the Parish Council.
