Leigh House, is a Grade II* listed building.  A Jacobean manor house built between 1590 and 1617 by the Henley family, who lived there until the the early 20th century. By that time it had acquired Victorian and Edwardian extensions which carefully copied the original mullion-windowed, ham stone building.
